preclinical research models related to neurological function, oil-based CoQ10 required very high doses to show measurable effects (Cleren et al., 2008). These levels are not directly translatable to typical human supplementation ranges.
In contrast, studies using Ubisol-Q10®, a water-dispersible formulation, have reported observations at substantially lower dose levels in preclinical models (Sikorska et al., 2014; Muthukumaran et al., 2014).
These findings highlight differences in formulation performance, suggesting that delivery systems may influence how CoQ10 is incorporated and utilized within biological systems.
